Turn away now if you are an Xbox gamer, because this news is as bad as it gets. A recent post on Xbox wire has confirmed that the cost to play Xbox gaming online will increase. Microsoft have allegedly stated that “this is taking place to look at the current pricing and value of the provided services”. Which basically means they have bumped up the prices of Xbox Live memberships. If you are an existing 6 month or 12 month member, then the prices will not change and will renew at the current value before updating.
The brand new prices for the memberships are as follows:
1 month – $10.99
3 months – $29.99
6 months – $59.99
Meanwhile the cost of a 1 month membership has gone up by $1.This has obviously not met well with many Xbox gamers. And when you really think about it, can you really blame them?
