Xbox announces that its two time consuming titles will be available through Sunday, July 12.
Over time Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass become big services for Microsoft. Each month there are free games that players can access. They are now offering four games throughout the month. Today two games are being announced that are available to try for free through Sunday, July 12. The two games are Citadel: Forged with Fire and The Sims 4. This entire program is called Xbox’s Free Play Days.
The Sims is a beloved, ever-evolving cartoonish life simulation game that reached 10 million active users in June. Electronic Arts announced a Steam release during its EA Play event. On the other hand, Citadel: Forged with Fire is an open-world fantasy MMORPG, it features legendary beasts, expansive gameplay with magic, and more. Previous Free Play Days have included more games but there’s no doubt that The Sims 4 and Citadel: Forged with Fire are titles that can offer fans near-limitless playtime. Those who want to keep with them can purchase them for $10 and $16 respectively. The variety of expansions available for the game that adds everything from seasons to more outlandish things like vampires and new pets. Microsoft and Xbox are not only groups that have found free trial periods for games. Epic Games Store offers free games weekly time frames like Killing Floor 2 and Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern warfare.
It will be interesting to see how Microsoft decides to handle programs like the Free play Day Days going forward while the Xbox Game Pass service carrying onto the upcoming next-generation Xbox Series X. For now, those with Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold can enjoy getting their hands on two different but equally time-consuming titles.
