Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for CD Project Red, they and their publishing form CD Projekt have now received a second-class action lawsuit that is being filed against them by a law firm that is representing the studio’s investor for being “misled about the performances of Cyberpunk 2077” on the previous gen platforms PlayStation 4 & Xbox One.
CD Projekt Red has then stated that they plan on “undertaking vigorous actions to defend themselves against such claims”. We all know that Cyberpunk 2077’s launch was far from promising. So many players complained about performance, frame rate, game crashing issues and so on. However, you wouldn’t suspect much issues if you were playing the game on either current gen consoles or PC. But players on the previous gen consoles are the ones suffering the most.
Fortunately, CD Projekt Red has released a few patches to clean up a lot of the mess already in the game, and you’d definitely identify dramatic improvements to the game. Plus, we were promised that more patches will arrive in the future to clean up the game some more. Surprisingly, with all that is happening, CD Projekt Red still managed to become a commercial success.
