Unexplored 2 celebrates the confirmation that it’s coming to Xbox Series X and that it will be an Xbox console launch exclusive.
Unexpected 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy is one of the upcoming indie games that’s been showcased this summer. Developer Ludomotion recently revealed some exciting news trying to capture the spotlight amidst dozens of other great games. Unexplored 2 was reconfirmed as an Xbox Series X release and an Xbox launch exclusive in a new trailer.
The short trailer is said to be in celebration of the confirmation of Unexplored 2 coming to Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really expand on what Unexplored 2 really is or show anything that wasn’t featured at the PC Gaming Show. However, it does also tease a potential upcoming beta. With Steam to potentially follow at a later date, Unexplored 2’s release window is tentatively set for Q1 2021 on the Epic Games Store and Xbox. There’s no word yet but perhaps there are plans for an earlier release in Early Access. Interested gamers can register for Unexplored 2’s beta at publisher Big Sugar’s official website. Shortly after July’s Xbox Games Showcase event, the Xbox exclusivity of Unexplored 2 was technically revealed.
