The Remothered sequel will be delayed from its original release date of 25th August 2020, announced by developers Modus Games.
Remothered: Broken Porcelain, the sequel to the psychological horror game Remothered: Tormented fathers are going to take a little longer than expected to arrive. The supernatural horror game was supposed to come out in August, announced by publisher Modus Games in June at the Future Games Show. But today they announced that it’s been pushed back to 20th October.
Fans of the genre were all about the fantastically creepy trailer that is released by Modus Game. Remothered also got a release date of 25th August 2020. But Modus said in a press that no longer looks as though it’s going to be possible. It’s not a surprise that Remothered: Broken Porcelain game is being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic with many other games. Team Modus Games has announced that Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be pushed back until October 20, 2020. They also mentioned that the team just needs a little more time to polish the much-anticipated game and ensure the experience is everything that they want it to be. It’s good to see some titles willing to pause and take more time when they need it while so many games rushed through production. Broken Porcelain tells the tale of a young woman attempting to escape the Ashmann Inn, a place of danger, mysteries, and secrets. The steam listing promises expanded lore to discover, new gameplay and storytelling elements and puzzles to solve. It’s also “the perfect entry point for new fans discovering the franchise.
Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be released right around Halloween. Looks like fans will get to play this horror game at the spookiest time of the year. Looks like horror fans will be getting quite the autumn with between Little Hope and Remothered coming this Halloween season. Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be released on 20th October 2020 for PS4, Switch, Xbox One and PC.
