The ‘Flight Simulator’ studio returns to its survival horror roots.
A Plague Tale: Innocence was an unexpected hit for Asobo (which proceeded to make Flight Simulator), and now the studio is getting back to its underlying foundations. The developer has uncovered A Plague Tale: Requiem, a “second chapter” in Amicia and Hugo’s journey to endure the two multitudes of sickness-ridden rodents and the Inquisition.
There isn’t a lot to say about the story at this stage, however, it’s unmistakable the arrangement has gotten a visual overhaul for Xbox Series X/S and Windows PCs — there are scenes in the trailer that line on photorealism. Requiem is because of coming to the fresher Xbox control center and PCs at some point in 2022. It will be a Game Pass title on “day one” Microsoft said.
It looks encouraging, however, the test will be to develop the main game’s endurance ghastliness equation without losing the environment that made it uncommon.
