Grounded, the widely anticipated new survival game by Obsidian Entertainment, in now available in Early Access through Xbox Game Pass.
Since November of 2019, the gaming community has known about Grounded. Now players will have the chance to experience Obsidian Entertainment’s newest title as the Xbox Series X event gave a much more articulate and detailed look at the game.
As of today, Xbox Game Pass users can now experience Grounded in Early Access while the official release of the game is slated for much later in 2021. The quality of the game will likely not reflect the final product released in 2021 because now the game is being released in Early Access. But regardless, players will be able to experience what Grounded has to offer firsthand. There is a lot that Grounded has to offer and a lot more content that has yet to be shown based on what was shown and based on the early reactions of users playing the Early Access version of the game. Grounded will feature more sinister, darker tone in contrast to what has largely been shown through trailers and gameplay if we consider the rumors. Grounded appears to be quite the departure from Obsidian’s RPG traditions based on what Obsidian Entertainment has developed in the past. Regardless of whether the developers of the game will figure out how to convey a fun and convincing experience is not yet clear given how unique Grounded is from some other game the studio has created.
It is already available across a breadth of platforms while it is a Microsoft exclusive title. Unfortunately for those interested PlayStation gamers out there, it’s just not coming to their system. Grounded is set to launch in 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Early Access is available now for Game Pass subscribers
