You can try Xbox Cloud Gaming now on iOS safari, Chrome, and on Edge.
If you are an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, then now you don’t need an invitation to play or use Xbox Cloud Gaming. You have to dedicated Xbox Game Pass app if you are an android user. Chrome, iOS Safari, Edge are all currently support Xbox Cloud Gaming. To get started on PC or iOS, you just have to take your browser to xbox.com/play, and voila, it’s done. Since April, Microsoft has been working on cloud gaming to more platforms and now they are successful as now its runs on improved hardware also.
Xbox Cloud gaming has gone through another huge upgrade for attracting more potential players to open a new platform. It’s now called “powered by custom Xbox Series X hardware”. Player’s own specific network connection will play a major part in what kind of service they get but now the service streams up to 60 frames per second. We can expect faster load times and improved visuals as the streaming service aims for an Xbox-one-like experience. Back in April, Microsoft invited Game Pass Ultimate subscribers testing of iOS and PC streaming and now it streams at 1080p and has Lower latency and better performance. To not get too giddy, but if Microsoft is truly committed to expanding out Game Pass in this manner, it may truly be a paradigm change in how we think about where and by whom games are played. I am being used to the blurry screens, but it seems to cross beyond my limit of blurry when I play a certain game. And players aren’t looking for a side-by-side version running on local hardware, the slight control input delay wouldn’t bother them much. If you just simply press a button on your Xbox gamepad, you’re not having a controller-connected problem that will be solved.
That certainly appears to be the idea, based on all of the new Game Pass announcements in the Xbox E3 2021 showcase.
