Developers have shown a new impressive history trailer and new gameplay footage at the recent Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire event. Some of the upcoming NPCs in the game together with the six districts of Night City have also received official feeds from social media. In the first hands-on gameplay demos, it was revealed that the player could choose the main protagonist from three backstories. These prologues launch the player in three very different areas and offer a glimpse of what is coming from the vast map of Cyberpunk 2077.
The six districts of Night City range from slums to high classes. The latest Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter news reviews the Westbrook area, regarded as the best place to stay in Night City and to have some fun. It also seems that when players have no cash, they can take loans and enter the party. The concept of art shows a variety of slim, abstract, affluent living areas, and invites players to ‘come here to spend eddies, if you have them.’
CD project Red really appears to concentrate heavily on Cyberpunk 2077 information. While bigger features such as wall functionality are scrapped, the game pays attention to the smaller interactions including allowing players to pet cats. It will also help players explore everything in Cyberpunk 2077 by calling and driving cars in Night City.
On 19 November, Cyberpunk 2077 is being released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
