Josef Fares’ and EA’s co-op adventure, It Takes Two, has managed to sell over 1 million copies, the developer has announced.
Developer Hazelight Games has taken to Twitter to report the achievement, where the studio noticed that deals are “still going strong” while expressing gratitude toward players for “the adoration you’ve shown our game”.
“Wow!!! Just found out It Takes Two has sold over one million copies and is still going strong!” a tweet from the studio’s official Twitter account notes. “Thank you so much for all the love you’ve shown our game, it means the world to us’’.
Disputable chief Josef Fares quote tweeted the message with an extra note. The game reviewed genuinely well. “This shows that there definitely are players that also want to play co-op-only games!” he said. “Thank you, everyone and I hope we see more games like this.”
“If you ask me about our next game, I can tell you now, it will be even better than It Takes Two,” Fares has said about Hazelight’s next title. “It’s gonna be so crazy. That’s how sure I am, like the concept, what’s gonna happen, and people will be blown away.”
It Takes Two is accessible on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC by means of Steam and Origin. All players who own the game on last-gen consoles can overhaul the game to PS5 or Xbox Series X/S free of charge.
