The bane of many achievement hunters lives on Xbox, now has the option to be seen.
Secret achievements are both a blessing and a curse for the lives of Xbox gamers. When you first play a game, these achievements are godsends, preventing players from having their experiences ruined by spoilers found in the achievement section, it is a very nice feature that ensures players will not spoil their own playing experience.
On the other hand however, once players have completed titles (or simply don’t care about spoilers) the secret achievements become bothersome as players seek out those last few achievements. Some may think the secret adds to the fun. I for one… Don’t. The secret makes achievement hunting already more burdensome that it can be, which is why Xbox have a very elegant solution in this regard.
As detailed on the official Xbox site, starting from June, Xbox users will now be able to reveal the secret achievements. After you see it, you can hide it again or keep it revealed so that you can always see the details. I am sure that players that have been desperate to 100% certain games will be ecstatic with this feature, allowing them to finally reach that very last achievement that blocked them from that final goal.
