Xbox Game Pass is pretty heavy this month with Redfall, Weird West and more.
Xbox Game Pass members will be awfully busy this month, because it will have nine brand new games coming through to make your mouth water. Including one of the most anticipated titles of 2023, Redfall. The following is the list of games that are available this month confirmed by Xbox:
- Redfall: May 2 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Get ready for a bloodthirsty adventure as its developer, Arkane Studios, takes you through an open-world Island Town of Redfall, Massachusetts, that’s under attack by an army of Vampires. Go solo or co-op – to fight against evil and cover the secrets surrounding the Vampire’s’ appearance. Redfall is now available to download on Xbox Game Pass.
- Ravelok: May 4 (Console, PC, Cloud)
For all indie lovers, Cococucumber has something in store for you. A fantastical adventure featuring a cute heroine named Ravenlok who stumbles across a magic mirror that takes her to a troubled kingdom that is cursed by the Caterpillar Queen. Enjoy the action-packed combat, battle through the creepy, monstrous enemies and bosses, and put an end to the Queen’s reign of terror. The game is also now available to download on Xbox Game Pass.
- Weird West: Definitive Edition: May 8 (Console)
Any RPG fans out there? Well, pay attention because this section is just for you guys. Unravel the mysteries of the Wild West as Lawmen and gunslingers share the land that is infested with creatures. Take on the adventures of atypical heroes, each having their own journey, and the choices you make determine their destinies. Developed by co-creators of Dishonored and Prey, WolfEye Studios.
- Shadowrun Trilogy: May 9 (PC)
Don’t go anywhere RPG fans, and there’re more. If you have a PC, a day later, you will enjoy three iconic tactical RPG games set in a Cyberpunk future where creatures of high fantasy were brought back to life by a re-awakened magic. The bundle consists of the games Shadownrun Returns (2013), Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director’s Cut (2014), and Shadowrun: Hong Kong (2015) as a gift by its creator, Harebrained Schemes.
- Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2: May 11 (Console, PC)
It seems like RPG fans will be set for this month as another of the genre will arrive a couple days later. Developer, Cyberconnect2 guides you through a floating continent – an archipelago of small and large floating islands. Chapter 2 will follow the tracks left by the Taranis and eventually reach a ruined port that was devastated by an attack.
- Amnesia: The Bunker: May 23 (Console)
Set in a WW1 bunker, developer Frictional Games challenges players to fight their fears and fight the evil that lurks in the dark corridors. Tools, weapons and of course, limited light are your only way out alive in this horror first-person shooter.
- Planet of Lana: May 23 (Console, PC, Cloud)
A young girl and her loyal friend go on a rescue mission. Filled with machines, creatures puzzles for players to complete to protect a planet from something sinister. Developed by Wishfully.
- Railway Empire 2: May 25 (Console, PC)
Gaming Minds Studios invites you all aboard the small railway company in the early 1800s and grow your empire and make it the continent’s largest railway company, whether it is on single-player or online co-op. Outsmart your competitors by connecting cities and companies in bigger and more detailed maps.
- Farworld Pioneers: May 30 (Console, PC)
Get ready for the 2D Open world sci-fi Galactic sandbox as the game’s developer, Igloosoft, allows you to go by yourself or with up to a whopping 32 other friends and create colonies on strange Alien planets. Its presentation will take some of your old heads back to the 90s again.
