Gotham Knights surprisingly makes it into Xbox Game Pass, plus more great titles this month.
We’ve just surpassed what’s arguably the best month of the year, but that doesn’t mean that October wouldn’t be good either. In fact, there will be a fair share of great games coming through this month, albeit some of which you’ll have to buy. But Xbox Game Pass members will still be feasting this month with a few games that’ll be available on m the service.
It’s been a year since its release, but it’s rather a surprise that Gotham Knights makes it into Xbox Game Pass. But that’s not the only game to look forward to this month. Here are the following games:
- Gotham Knights: October 3 (Console, PC, Cloud)
You’re in for some exciting superhero action as the RPG spin-off to the iconic Gotham series surprisingly make its way to Xbox Game Pass. After the death of the Dark Knight, the city of Gotham rests its shoulders on the hands of four playable Gotham Knight characters.
Go solo or with a friend and battle with Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Redhood, and investigate the events that led to their mentor’s death. And at the same time, deal with an ancient conflict between the League of Shadows and Court of Owls.
- The Lamplighters League: October 3 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Steal, shoot and sneak your way into a world of pulp adventure. Your job is to recruit a team full of scoundrels and misfits that possess a set of unique set of abilities and personalities you’ll remember forever and pursue the Banished Court to the ends of the earth in this wild and adventurous character driven story.
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide: October 4 (Console)
Enter the brutal first-person action adventure set in the gory Warhammer 40,000 universe. Your job is to investigate the potential destructive infiltration in the Hive City of Tertium and take back the city. In order to survive, you must master the art of mellow and ranged combat. And switching between the two is pivotal as you stumble across a number of enemies that are in your way.
- Forza Motorsport: October 10 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Another highly anticipated game for Xbox Game Pass. Almost two years since the last game, welcome back to some hot Forza action, waiting for you to put the pedal to the metal. New entry into the series, Forza Motorsport as you get to race with over a whopping 500 actual, real-world cars to drive. Which includes over 100 brand new cars to the franchise. Plus, you get to cruise around 20 exotic and famous environments. Not to mention, the brand new and immersive single player career mode, The Builders Cup that features over 800 performance upgrades.
- Cities: Skylines 2: October 24 (PC)
Have you ever had a dream city? Wouldn’t you want to turn that into a reality? Well, here’s your chance. Raise a city from the ground up and transform it into a city you’ve ever imagined. How you grow your city is completely up to you as you enter an excitingly deep simulation. Along with problem-solving, challenges and so on.
- Mineko’s Night Market: October 26 (Console, PC)
A game that celebrates Japanese culture and also features a heartwarming story of a curious girl named Mineko, who arrived at her new home in a struggling island. You’re to unravel the secrets of the village and return it to its glory.
- Headbangers Rhythm Royale: October 31 (Console, PC)
One of the last games this month. Have you ever wonder what goes on inside a pigeon’s head? Well, you may get you answer as you and 29 other players are placed in the heads of pigeons and battle it out with rhythmic challenges and find out who is the ultimate headbanger. Compete in a series of joyous musical mini-games and customise your very own pigeon to give them the ultimate look you desire.
- Jusant: October 31 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Another last game of the month goes to a fun action puzzle climbing game that takes you to a unique journey to the top of a tall tower. Take on the challenge and go through a number of obstacles whilst unraveling the secrets of a bygone civilisation.
