WWE 2K25 has officially been announced as the historic debut of the Netflix Era.
Yes, you read that correctly, WWE 2K25 has been confirmed. WWE has just kicked its debut in the brand new Netflix era with a 3-hour episode. This means that we are getting live RAW, SmackDown and NXT episodes from now on, as well as pretty much all content from the previous WWE app, which is no longer a thing. One of those matches in the episode included The Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, Vs. The current Tribal Chief and Solo Sikoa are about to see who is the true tribal chief, with Reigns being victorious.
After the match later on, the show, there was a trailer of Reigns and Wiseman Paul Heyman having a brief conversation after the match, with Heyman closing the door with the WWE 2K25 logo on it, and that’s the very moment when the next installment was announced, which sent shockwaves throughout the WWE Universe. But, if you actually listen to the conversation, Heyman mentioned to Reigns the need for a platform for which people can acknowledge him.
And then asked, “When exactly can I put that (WWE 2K25) on your calendar, my tribal chief?”. Reigns replied with the date, “January 27 (2025)”, signaling that’s the day when we can pre-order WWE 2K25 on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam. However, WWE’s official socials stated that we can put it on our wishlist now. However, it doesn’t appear to be there yet. Perhaps we should wait a little longer. Just to be clear, Reigns is the installment’s cover star.
Now, it’s said that WWE 2K25 will contain groundbreaking features that’ll change WWE gaming, which includes brand new, authentic, and fam-changing features that’ll blow any other wrestling game out of the water. Yes, that includes last year’s incredible WWE 2K24, which proved to be one of the best sports games of 2024, which we loved, by the way. And we’ll find out more about that on January 28, 2025.
It gets even better—WWE 2K25 and Xbox released images of superstars such as Liv Morgan, Cody Rhodes, and Damian Priest from the game via X. This is such an explosive announcement, and we can’t wait to see what 2K Games and Visual Concepts are cooking this year.
