The upcoming WWE 2K24 game has removed Brock Lesnar and owner, Vince McMahon from game.
WWE 2K24 has finally released their entire roster for the game. If you want to know where to find it, you can simply find it on the WWE 2K website and it has the total roster of Legends/Alumni, Raw, Smackdown and NXT superstars. Plus, their ratings have also been announced. But as you go through the list, you’ll notice that two very well-known figures are not a part of the roster.
Both long time WWE wrestler, Brock Lesnar, and the WWE owner, Vince McMahon are no longer involved in WWE 2K24. It has been confirmed by the list, as it goes from bad to worse for both people. Brock Lesnar was initially on the cover of the WWE 2K24’s Forty Years of WrestleMania edition but was removed from it and was replaced by a bigger image of John Cena. Although, it isn’t confirmed yet, but it’s fair to say that we won’t be seeing any of them in future WWE games, along with WWE 2K24 indefinitely.
If you’re a WWE fan, you should already know why both of them are no longer a part of the game, and unless you’ve been living under a rock, it goes back to the lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, who accused WWE owner, Vince McMahon or sexual coercion, assault and trafficking her to other individuals in the company and Brock Lesnar was one of the alleged names. With the seriousness of this matter, it expected attracted uproar from the public and social media.
Also, because of this, WWE 2K24 brought upon themselves to remove both people as playable characters. But it’s not just WWE games, it’s also WWE’s intros before their shows, you no longer see Lesnar and McMahon. Plus, Lesnar was booked to be in this year’s Royal Rumble but was removed from the PPV and replaced by new SmackDown superstar, Bron Breakker and was subsequently removed from all of WWE’s creative plans for the upcoming WrestleMania XL.
