World of Warcraft released a new hotfix that should make it easier to collect all rewards from this year’s Noblegardens events.
Buffing the drop chance for the Noble Flying Carpet mount in World of Warcraft’s Noblegarden event, from now until the end of the event on April 8, fans will have better chances at looting this rare event mount with a higher chance being added with the first kill of the day. The event is essentially the equivalent of Easter and this year, World of Warcraft added some new rewards and activities of which includes: Druidic Duck, the Daetan Swiftplume World Boss that will drop the Noble Flying Carpet.
This charming mount is coveted by collectors and fans of Springtime alike. However, the mount had a criminally low drop rate, with an estimated 1% chance of looting it from the loot filled basket that is awarded upon the completion of the daily quest to defeat the boss. However, this was a problem for players and World of Warcraft recently confirmed it was making the Noble Flying Carpet a little easier to obtain, As posted in a forum by the Community Manager, Linxy, details on the hotfix were announced that it will increase the drop rate.
While this is good news, it is however unclear by how much the drop rate has risen. In addition to this hotfix, after defeating the word boss for the first time each day on their respective accounts, the loot-filled basket has an even higher probability of containing the much sought-after mount. Ways of getting the Nobel Flying Carpet in the game would be to find a golden egg in the Elwynn Forest or Durotar and bring it to the nest marked on the world map.
Golden eggs spawn in various locations every 5 to 10 minutes but other ways of getting this mount can be achieved by defeating Daetan Swiftplume, looting the Noblegarden Trinket, and turning in the Feathered Fiend quest at Goldshire or Razor Hill. The Feathered Fiend can only be completed once per day per character and characters must be level 60 to get a chance at the mount, however, lower-level characters can still do the quest as well. In the end, fans and collectors of the flying carpet have much to look forward to in the recent hotfix’s improvements to the drop rate
