Drake customization isn’t the only thing being added in the Guardians of the Dream patch, which is World of Warcraft’s next major content update. The patch will go live on 7 November 2023 and will be adding in a brand-new zone, as well as a new raid. The patch will also add plenty of activities and rewards for players to do and earn, many of which will be tied to all the new customization options for their Dragonriding companions.
The announcement for Guardians of the Dream was made via a post on the official World of Warcraft Twitter account, which also confirmed that drake customization was finally going to be added to the game via the update. Players will be able to earn white scales for the five main Dragonriding drakes, by completing Tyr’s questline. In particular the quest missions – Silver Scale and Tyr’s Guard. By completing these quests, players will be rewarded with drake customization options. Patch 10.2 also marks the grand finale for Tyr’s story.
Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream seems to be bringing plenty of things for fans of Dragonriding. Along with all the new customization options for pre-existing drakes, players will also have a chance to unlock two brand new customizable drakes known as the Flourishing Whimsdrake and the grotto Netherwing Drake.
