We can’t wait to take an afternoon to relax and learn about some cute and wholesome indie games.
The Wholesome Direct will be back for one more year, planned to air at some point later in 2021. In the event that you have a game to flaunt, entries to be highlighted in the direction are currently open until March 15.
Like a year ago, Wholesome Direct will be a Livestream about nonmainstream games that can be depicted as adorable or potentially comfortable regarding their visuals, tone, or story. The stream will include elite trailers and ongoing interaction shows and meetings with engineers. Wholesome Direct 2020 happened in May so it makes sense the current year’s occasion will too, however the coordinators have not yet affirmed a date.
More than 50 games were flaunted during Wholesome Direct 2020, including titles like Kind Words (a loosening up game where an online local area underpins each other through difficult situations), Spiritfarer (perhaps the best round of 2020), Ooblets, and Haven (probably the best game to play with your accomplice).
Wholesome Direct was a much-needed diversion in 2020, and it’s brilliant to see the show return again in 2021. Maybe we’ll hear delivery dates for a portion of the games recorded in the 50 independents we’re generally eager to see in 2021.
