It’s the middle ages once again. But this time, you are not solo. Warhaven will have you fighting alongside a small army.
Many incarnations of the Middle Ages exist in video games. Some even pit warriors from different cultures against each other. But Warhaven has entire detachments of soldiers fighting each other. No, it won’t be a squad of four fighting against each other. There will be far more swords and other weapons clashing.
Challenge others with numerous weapons straight from the history books. If precise strikes are your jam, choose a sword and slash like King Arthur’s knights. If you’re feeling a little more brutal, rock a mace or war hammer to let the enemy know you mean business. And if you want to unleash a fair amount of destruction, operate a siege engine to cover your regiment.
Players will have the opportunity to experience a multitude of modes in gameplay. Onslaught will see 16-player teams run to capture a flag while simultaneously pushing back the enemy. Skirmish will have players attempting to secure bases that will then allow them access to better weaponry. Or see if you can protect your team’s war machines as you advance through enemy territory in Arms Race.
Players will be matched up with 3 other players before combining with others for a full fighting force. Be sure to bring all the intensity you can, because the enemy will not go down without a fight.
Warhaven will have an Open Beta available across the globe from October 12th through November 2nd. Sign up on Steam now to be first in line to test the game before its eventual release.
