In 2021, Trails of Cold Steel IV will come to PC and Nintendo Switch. Earlier this year announcement of the collector’s edition with a teaser was all fans and players got to see. But now the game has a finalized date for the PlayStation 4 Western release. On 27th October 2020 Nihon Falco’s Trails of Cold Steel IV will be released in North America. The company announced it today.
Trails of Cold Steel focuses on high school students who attend a respectable military academy. The Trails game is a long run of RPG titles dating back to the 80’s. It’s a part of the Legend of Heroes series. Nihon Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo states in an interview that there are more trial games yet to come. However, Trains of Cold Steel IV is the final game of Cold Steel in the subseries. Those who were waiting to play it On PC or Nintendo Switch are still stuck in limbo with a vague 2021 date.
Fans of the JRPG series now have to wait until 27th October for the result of the spin-off’s storyline. The October release date puts this whole thing directly one month past the Japanese release. This time the game will evolve around different characters and a new story. The whole eastern half is pretty much still in the shadows. In Trails Sky, Players will get to explore the area of the world and its secrets.
In October 2019, Trails of Cold Steel III first came to the West on PS4. Now it will be released on June 30 for Nintendo Switch.
