The player base increased to 100,000 total players.
Players of Creative Assemblies’ newest release, Total War: Warhammer 3, were awaiting the release of Immortal Empires. The predecessor of this DLC was the Mortal Empires found in Total War: Warhammer 2, and that DLC was incredibly well received. However, this, combined with the lack of support and with many claiming that the base game’s campaign was lackluster, and Immortal Empires was a DLC that was just what players were waiting for.
In the last 24 hours, the game has peaked at over 100,000 players on Steam, rising from its much lower numbers ranging around 10,000 +. This still does not quite reach the zenith of the game’s player base, with the all-time peak still residing at 166,754. However, considering that these Total War titles are on sale right now on Steam (Immortal Empires requires all 3 Total War Warhammer games), the player count may, in fact, rise to that height once again.
Total War Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires has a gargantuan amount of content. With 278 Factions, 86 Playable Lords, and even a Realms of Chaos villain as a playable Lord with its very own faction, Immortal Empires has undoubtedly caused a massive surge in the player base and should hopefully encourage more players to dive into the titles.
