Fantasian, the fun, and well-received “Diorama Adventure RPG,” is getting a sequel on Apple Arcade later next week.
This Friday, August 13, the second chapter of Final Fantasy creator and Mistwalker founder Hironobu Sakaguchi’s latest RPG, Fantasian, will be released on Apple Arcade. Players enchanted by the game’s distinctive design have been wondering when the second portion would arrive since the first half was published to critical and financial success in April 2021.
Nobuo Uematsu, Sakaguchi’s long-time partner and composer extraordinaire, has also contributed 34 new tunes to this section of the game. If you’re disappointed that this game isn’t accessible on PC or consoles, you’ll be happy to learn that several Final Fantasy titles are now available on Xbox Game Pass, and Square Enix is preparing to remake another of their original show. Part Two of the delightful experimental RPG is roughly double the size of Part One, and this segment appears to be more quest-driven than anything we’ve seen premiere on Apple Arcade thus far. This section of the game is expected to take between 40 and 60 hours to finish, and it will include an enlarged Growth Map as well as the ability to transfer party members in and out of battle. Square Enix is also planning to remake another of their previous era.
Sakaguchi has stated that he is not interested in working on remasters of his games, such as Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, or The Last Story.
