Sloclap, the company behind ‘Absolver,’ is working on a new game that will require longer time in the oven.
Sifu, a new kind of kung fu game, is being developed by Sloclap, an Absolver studio. Sifu was scheduled to be launched this year for Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. But It has been postponed until early 2022. It will take a bit more time and effort than the creators had anticipated.
Today’s video is named, “Sifu – Fight Club Gameplay Teaser,”. As a result, we are guessing upon a film-centric theme as well. Though Old Boy was the inspiration for the game’s first trailer. So much like Absolver, Kung-fu is the inspiration for the Sifu game. Or we can say it’s a kung-fu game. Gamers reappear as an older version of themselves in the fight every time they die. Moreover, the game is very story-driven. According to the ESRB, this dark story is suitable for everyone, teens and up. Surely, it tells a violent and dark revenge story, but Sifu is also all about magical age progression and hand-to-hand fight.
In a teaser that also demonstrates the game’s unique death mechanism, Sloclap announced the revised release date.
