A young new studio based in Finland, Kalla Game Works, is working on its first game release, The Pegasus Expedition. It’s going to be a story-driven grans strategy title set two centuries into the future. A new teaser trailer for The Pegasus Expedition has been released to help pique grand strategy fans’ curiosity.
The teaser trailer details a pivotal moment in this sci-fi timeline, the destruction of Anabah. The narration is told from the perspective of a faction of colonizers. Colonizers who come into conflict with another faction. The narrators decided to destroy their opponent’s homeworld as things did not go well. “That day we ended a planet, a reign, and an era…”.
The Pegasus Expedition’s goal is to lead an expedition away from Earth as it faces an unprecedented threat. The player will take on the challenges of governance over a fleet of settlers as they build, explore, and fight their way to safety in the Pegasus galaxy. The teaser trailer is presumably just one example of how an expedition could progress.
The Pegasus Expedition is filled with passionate gamers who tend to keep track of and be excited about any new game in the genre through the grand strategy that may be a niche. Grand Strategy fans are likely already excited to hear more though little is known about the mechanics of The Pegasus Expedition.
