This is the second time that Season 3 has been delayed after Season 2 was extended by a full month earlier this year, pushing Season 3 to June 4. Epic did not provide a clear explanation for the previous break, but it states that this extra week is merely “an attempt to have things ready.”
You’ll need to manage a second postponement before you can play the third period of Fortnite Chapter 2, although it won’t be as emotional as the first. Epic has pushed back Season 3’s debut by multi-week to June 11 to “prepare everything.” To hold individuals over, it’s arranging a one-time occasion, The Device, for June 6 at 2 PM Eastern. You’ll need to sign in right off the bat that day as “space is restricted,” Epic said.
Fortnite seasons used to last approximately several months, however, Chapter 2’s first and second seasons were both reached out to four — the ebb and flow season was initially intended to wrap up on May 1. Although Epic hasn’t clarified exactly what incited the later postponements, the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic didn’t help by constraining staff to telecommute.
