Square Enix has taken information gathered “after Early Access” to push out another Steam fix trying to address the security issues tormenting Marvel’s Avengers on PC.
“We have just released our first patch for Marvel’s Avengers, build 12.9,” clarifies a report on the game’s Steam page. “This fix is principally centered around security, in light of the information we have gathered after Early Access began a couple of days prior. “We are aware of a number of other issues that are causing problems for some of our players, and teams are hard at work addressing those, but for now, we want to make sure we get these stability improvements that have already been identified to all of you,” the post adds.
“Please keep your feedback coming; we will release further patches as fixes are found.” Fixes in fix V1.0 Build 12.9 incorporate a “workaround” to address issues with the NVIDIA 10-arrangement driver that was causing crashes, a DEVICE_HUNG crash a few players ran into in the sewers, and a bug that kept some from tossing rocks as Hulk or shooting as Iron Man. The patch also enables Steam Cloud to “easily synchronize your save-games between multiple PCs.”
Marvel’s Avengers post-dispatch DLC characters each have their own $10 fight pass. In a long and complex post where Square Enix subtleties how the game oversees apparatus and beautifiers, the $10 passes – Hero Challenge Cards – “permit players to win Resources, Units, Credits, and Cosmetics for finishing in-game difficulties.”
The superior Hero Challenge Card rewards have just been opened for the six beginning saints, something Square Enix says: “prevent[s] content gating and assurance that you and your companions can encounter these energizing augmentations together.” In any case, to open all awards for any new legends presented post-dispatch, players should open premium compensations for everyone independently with 1,000 in-game credits.
Marvel’s Avengers will include Hawkeye herself, Kate Bishop, in its developing list of legends in October. Priest’s story missions will likewise present Clint Barton, who will become playable in November at that point. The two characters are, obviously, otherwise called Hawkeye.
