A Far Cry 6 gameplay reveal is coming this Friday, May 28.
Xbox will likewise air the ongoing interaction uncovered on its official Twitch channel, so there are many spots to check out to ensure you get the Far Cry 6 interactivity in all its brilliance. Longways 6 is set to deliver before March 2022 after it was pushed from February of this current year because of COVID-19.
Besides the dangerous trailer that shows Giancarlo Esposito as tyrant Antón Castillo, we haven’t seen quite a bit of Far Cry 6. It would appear that this Friday will change that. We know from a Ubisoft Blog meeting with narrative director Navid Khavari that Yara, the anecdotal country wherein Far Cry 6 is set, is “an island that’s been essentially cut off from the rest of the world for 50 years, been in an economic downturn, electing this leader on the back of this idea of building a new paradise.” Esposito’s Antón “lulled people into believing this was the only answer for them. That he was the one that was going to solve all their problems.”
While making Yara, Ubisoft devs invested energy in Cuba, a country that filled in as the principal wellspring of motivation for the game, both in its unspoiled island setting and in its political circumstances. Yara, similar to Cuba, has been exposed to long periods of international restrictions, which makes for restricted (or possibly obsolete) weaponry. Furthermore, Far Cry 6 will be the first Far Cry game set in a metropolitan climate, which should add some verticality to an arrangement already not known for taking ongoing interaction skywards.
This Friday’s ongoing interaction should showcase what the new conditions and weapons mean for the spin-off’s play style. We may even see a greater number of the employable AI sidekicks, Amigos for Hire—like the canine in the wheelchair, Choriz.
The first look at Far Cry 6 gameplay will air on Ubisoft’s official Twitch and YouTube accounts at 9:30 a.m. PT/12:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. BST.
