The Finals developer, Embark Studios, acknowledges and reveals plans to deal with the new weapon bug.
The Finals video game, in a recent update, a new bug had been spotted ruining matches for players. After acknowledging the issue, Embark Studios Revealed some insight into plans to deal with the problem. Within this week, The Finals had received an update titled Update 1.5, in light of this update, it was a major step for improving a lot of the game aspects while refining the popular online shooter.
One of the biggest additions to the improvements of the game would be the limited-time game mode titled, Solo Bank It, which altered the rules a bit by placing 12 players against each other to see which players have what it takes to acquire and bank 40,000 in cash, alongside disregarding team strategy and taking it all or nothing with their own wits and tactics.
Aside from a new limited-time mode, Update 1.5 also addresses a number of the community’s concerns along with bug fixes and other in-game issues currently impacting the game’s experience. Over the past weeks, players have raised concerns over abilities like the cloaking Device skill being labeled as too strong, however, this issue has been tended to and nerfed alongside other mechanics like the Mesh Shield or the Grappling Hook.
Many balancing changes were also made to improve several weapons and abilities that were labeled by the communities as underwhelming, however, with the recent update fixing a lot of bugs it, a new major bug was introduced to the game in the form of a weapons bug which made some weapons a little overpowered.
On The Finals subreddit, users and players started reporting their frustrations following the bug in the most recent update, calling it “Game-breaking”. Light bloom effects seem to be on many of the game weapons such as the M60, Lewis Gun, and the MP5.
The bullet bloom is much stronger now than it originally was, which in turn, when aiming down the gun sights, the bloom would cause less accuracy issues during gun battles. In the end, The Finals Devs are aware of the issues and are making an effort to correct the bugs. Hopefully, with some time and effort, players can be back to enjoying the game’s full potential, while taking players top ranks in the FPS genre.
