Along with the announcement of Luke, Capcom also confirmed that the previously announced DLC fighters Oro and Akira will be released on August 16th.
Capcom has announced that a brand-new character, Luke, will be joining the game’s extensive DLC fighter list as the game’s last update. Luke appears to be a kickboxer with some deadly moves in the little video presented, and Capcom has stated that he has “a bright Street Fighter career ahead of him.”
It’s unclear what this means, but with Luke’s release date scheduled for November 2021, there’s still plenty of time to discover more about him. Oro made her Street Fighter debut in Street Fighter III, whereas Akira originally debuted in Capcom’s other fighting video game brand, Rival Schools, in 1997. Akira will also bring a new Rival Schools stage called “Rival Riverside,” which will feature “several familiar faces.” As previously stated, Oro and Akira, as well as Akira’s new stage “Rival Riverside,” will be released alongside the new Street Fighter V DLC fighters on August 16th. Luke, the game’s final DLC fighter, is expected to arrive in November 2021. The Street Fighter V Season 5 Character Pass or Premium Pass includes all three characters, although they may also be consumed in excess.
The most recent edition of Street Fighter V, dubbed Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, is presently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
