With the expansion, Sucker Punch states it ‘intended to portray a tale of healing.’
More information about Jin Sakai’s upcoming journey in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, an enhanced edition of the 2020 action-adventure game, has been provided by Sony and developer Sucker Punch. You’ll be able to visit Iki, a whole latest region. Jin discovers that a Mongol clan commanded by Ankhsar Khatun, a shaman, has settled in the area.
“Not just a conqueror of nations, but also a shepherd of souls,” that’s what Khatun is. For decades, Iki has been a “lawless country of raiders and outlaws” that has eluded samurai rule. On the island, Jin will encounter bandits, criminals, and “whacky monks.” He’ll learn new methods and visit spooky caverns. And the threat Khatun poses to Jin and his people is unlike anything they’ve ever faced,” said Sucker Punch columnist Patrick Downs on the PlayStation blog. Jin’s traumatic history will also be explored in greater depth in the extended tale. The Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is a $20 upgrade for existing Ghost of Tsushima purchasers. Upgrades to the PS5 version of either the main game or the director’s cut cost an additional $10. The Director’s Cut of Ghost of Tsushima will also be offered for $60 on PS4 and $70 on PS5.
The developer also unveiled a stunning new teaser for the forthcoming game, which will be published on August 20th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
