Be the ultimate predator in a time of many predators. Survive a Second Extinction and show why your species comes out on top.
The title that brought dinosaurs back in FPS-style is finally ready for an official release. From Systemic Reaction, comes Second Extinction, a game that makes blockbuster movies feel like Saturday morning cartoons. No humor is to be found here, unless the prospect of being chomped by razors is a bit humorous.
Finally out of the Early Access stages, developers are excited to announce the official release of the game. But this is no simple release. Along with this announcement comes the addition of a new savanna-based biome, increasing available activities in addition to new story-related missions.
Players will also have the luxury of a level cap increase from 50 to level 99. There will be two new dinosaur species introduced, with one being a flying type. To better help in fights, the weapons system has been refined as well. Perks applied may now change behaviors, with the added bonus of upgrading support equipment. This will help when any player decides to drop into another player’s Second Extinction game, joining a live in-progress playthrough.
And when your group has too many resources? Direct your friends to a bunker so that everyone can store valuable resources.
Second Extinction is out now on PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
