Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction first post-launch update includes a new defensive gameplay mode, a new operator, and other new features.
Rainbow Six Extraction’s first post-launch Crisis Event, Spillover, has been made accessible by Ubisoft from this Friday, February 18, 2022. According to the company, Crisis Events are large-scale, limited-time events in which players must deal with large-scale dangers that are specific to the Containment Zone.
Due to the growth of Sprawl Colonies throughout the hot zones, players need to employ the new Dissolution Agent canisters to bring out swarms of enemies and eliminate Sprawl colonies from their positions in the game world. To survive against the armies of Archaeans who are advancing towards them, they must adopt systematic and defensive measures to counter. The Auto-Turret, a mobile turret that automatically targets and attacks Archaeans, will be available to all players who check-in during Spillover.
Zofia has arrived in Extraction today, joining Spillover on the scene. Zofia is a well-known Rainbow Six Operator who is well-known for her extremely proficient survival skills. She will be an invaluable addition to the Rainbow Six Extraction team, both in the Spillover mode and the normal game mode. Players may boost their likelihood of successful invasion by adding extra defensive REACT technology to Zofia’s Grenade Launcher.
According to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction review at GamesCreed, the game is a spin-off and feels like one, but not in the good sense. The game feels rushed, and not enough fleshed out to become its own thing.
Spillover will be the first of several Crisis Events and upgrades that will be released for Rainbow Six Extraction in the future. Players may join their squads right away with Game Pass on Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, as well as on PlayStation 4 & 5, Amazon Luna, Stadia, Ubisoft+ or Ubisoft Store, and the Epic Games Store, among other platforms.
