Trapped in a horror movie with no way out. Escape solo or with the help of friends in Psycho Fear.
No one wants to be trapped in a seemingly impossible situation. But, it cannot always be helped. In Psycho Fear, the player must escape the hands of a killer looking to have fun. One might fare well on their own, but their chances of survival are increased if they work with another. From Dark Panda, comes a tale inspired by movies like Saw.
One of the most important things to note is the puzzles. Despite the horror you will likely face, your mind must remain as sharp as possible. You might be trapped and in danger of being tortured. But, the faceless assailant’s desire for fun might be your chance for escape.
Failing to solve some puzzles may simple result in having to find alternate routes. That’s no big deal, right? Happens sometimes when skulking through an underground maze. Other failures might cost your character their live and those of your friends’ characters. Are you willing to let your companions perish so that you can make the escape? Or will do you everything you can to ensure everyone survives?
The game itself can be played solo if so desired. That, of course, eliminates all risk of accidentally killing another player. But that also puts puzzle solutions and escaping on a single person’s shoulder. If dying in creative and unintentional ways is one’s preference, the will allow up to three other players to join.
Psycho Fear is currently in development. But it it set to release on Steam sometime in 2024. Will you be adding this nail-biting PC horror title to your Steam library?
