“we will soon be announcing a strong lineup of PS5 games”. This was recently tweeted by Yoshida (known as Bloomberg’s Takashi Mochizuki). The statement was made on Sony’s corporate strategy, as Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida said the company will be announcing a lineup of games for PlayStation 5 ‘soon’.
A PS5 event was speculated in June, and some people supported this statement, although Sony did not comment on it. Sony described the vision of their Game and Network Services team as part of another corporate strategy plan.
“The launch of PlayStation 5 scheduled for this calendar year’s holiday season will deliver even higher desirable properties on the game console,” reads a statement. “Higher speed, better sensory perceptions generated by its revolutionary controller and 3D audio sounds will combine to create a truly console-generated game experience unlike anything else.”
We currently have the continuous Unreal Engine 5 demo, which tells us how they might look before we are indicated with any PS5 games. Sony later explained that PS5 equipment was targeted and that “no major issues” occurred for the enhancement of programming for reassurance.
