We finally have a look at all the changes and patches for the anticipated Update 2.02 for Cyberpunk 2077.
It should go without saying, but another day, another list of extensive patch notes released by CD Projekt RED for Cyberpunk 2077, this time detailing all the changes coming with the game’s upcoming 2.02 Update. This update will be the next major update after the release of the game’s highly anticipated Phantom Liberty DLC expansion. This expansion saw many changes being made to the game, including the new region of Dogtown and the introduction of Solomon Reed.
It should be said that Cyberpunk 2077 is truly the greatest redemption arc of recent gaming, with the game initially releasing in a buggy glitch ridden state to receiving praise and approval by fans and gamers alike. This is all thanks to the many updates and patches that the game has received, probably the biggest of these updates being Update 2.0, which overhauled many of the game’s mechanics – Including major changes made to skill trees, improved police AI, car combat and much more. CDPR has been clear about what will be included in these updates, including small ones such as Update 2.02.
Update 2.02 should be releasing hopefully soon, CD Projekt RED has shared full patch notes that goes into detail about all the changes and improvements that will be coming in this update. Many of these patches include fixing or refining the changes made in Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.0 Update and its many extensive overhauls. One of the more notable changes include fixing a glitch that would cause V to flatline when entering the Delamin AV during the quest, Patch of Glory.
It’s nice to see that even after the major overhaul, CDPR is still improving Cyberpunk 2077 even after the numerous overhauls and the addition of The Phantom Liberty expansion. The release of Cyberpunk 2077 definitely caused a stain to appear on CDPR’s reputation, one that seems to mostly be cleaned away. Hopefully, this will stay clean when the studio releases their next project.
