Bandai Namco Entertainment America unveiled an all-new trailer for ONE PIECE ODYSSEY during Summer Game Fest’s Kickoff Live event on June 1.
After being shipwrecked on the fabled island of Waford, ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda introduces two new characters from ONE PIECE ODYSSEY: Adio and Lim, who both make their appearance in the new trailer. As part of an all-new trip that incorporates an original plot founded in canon and exhilarating gameplay that puts players in charge of their favorite characters, fans will get a look at the gorgeous island setting.
When One Piece Odyssey takes the Straw Hats to a strange new island, they engage in a series of adventures and combat fierce foes and enormous monsters in turn-based battles. Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Franky, Sanji, Usopp, Nico Robin, Tony Tony Chopper, and Brook are playable characters in the game.
The One Piece anime series was first produced by Toei Animation and is based on the best-selling manga title of all time, “One Piece,” which was created by Eiichiro Oda. The series debuted for the first time in October 1999 on Japanese television and tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew as they embark on an epic journey to locate “One Piece,” the legendary treasure of the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger.
One Piece is currently a worldwide brand that spans 15 feature films, including the soon-to-be-released “One Piece Film Red,” home videos, video games, and an ever-growing catalog of licensed items that include accessories, and toys, games, novelties, furniture, housewares, clothes, and more.
