Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have revealed the next Tera Raids, this time, against a formidable Paradox Pokémon.
Fans of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have been enjoying a steady stream of exciting Tera Raids, with the most recent one being against the formidable seven-star Blaziken. However, this time around, the games have revealed that the next set of five-star Tera Raids will feature Paradox Pokémon. The paradox Pokémon in question are of course, Flutter Mane and Iron Jugulis, depending on what version of the game you own will get that version’s paradox Pokémon. Based on what we can see, players are in for a challenge.
We first learned of the next set of five-star Tera Raids shortly after the event for Blaziken, the Unrivaled came to a close. These new five-star Raids will be the second round of new Tera Raids for 2024, the first of course being the fearsome fire starter from Generation 3. Blaziken definitely kept players on their toes with nonstop attacks, luckily, players were somehow able to work out a strategy that took out the fiery bird with just one strike! Now, with the new set of Tera Raids around the corner, players are in store for another difficult challenge.
The new Tera Raids will take place on Thursday, January 25, at 7:00 PM Eastern time, and ending on Sunday, January 28, at 6:59 PM Eastern time. Depending on what version of Pokémon you are playing, will determine which paradox Pokémon you will encounter. Pokémon Scarlet players will have to face off against Flutter Mane and Pokémon Violet players will have to face off against Iron Jugulis respectively. Both these Pokémon will be level 75 but will require very different strategies, especially considering that Flutter Mane is a Fairy Ghost type, while Iron Jugulis is Dark Flying type.
This is the most recent encounter we’ve had with Paradox Pokémon in Tera Raids, the previous one being Iron Bundle, the Unrivaled which took place on Christmas 2023. Though players of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can still find both of these Pokémon in Area Zero, this Tera Raid will allow players to snag the Mon with the Tera Type of their choosing.
