Microsoft may have discontinued manufacturing Xbox One, but developers are still making games for this last-gen console. Crunching Koalas has announced their puzzle title MouseCraft for Xbox One and the release isn’t far away.
Launched back in 2015, MouseCraft was first released on PC, followed by Nintendo Switch on 2020, Ouya, Vita and PlayStation 4. This 3D puzzle players assist a scientist called Schrödinger, who happens to be a cat-scientist in doing his experiments using mice, traps, and tetromino blocks in order to fuel his mystery contraption. The aim is to ensure that the mice reach safely their cheese dish by cleverly manipulating various sorts of blocks. The game emphasizes logical thinking and puzzle-solving abilities while preserving a light-hearted mood, making it an ideal match for players of all ages.
MouseCraft is a mix of two classic gameplay mechanics and a story of the crazy cat scientist. Fans of Tetris will enjoy showing off their stacking skills while enjoying the funky soundtrack by Mikolai Stroinski. Released date for Xbox One is yet to be given.
