Fans of casual simulation games are in for a treat. For the unaware, Mini Motorways is a strategy simulation game based on designing the roadmap for a selection of real world cities, growing and maintaining a delicate balance of streets and highways to get everybody to where they need to be going, with the game persisting so long as you are able to keep everything running smoothly.
Well, good news has come for Mini Motorways fans, as the game has recently released a new update, the Night Lights update, with a small collection of nevertheless exciting new features to play around with.
To begin with, the game has added two brand new maps. The first is Warsaw, largest city in Poland, which features the notable Vistula River that will require playing around. The other is the Thai city of Chiang Mai, which will require you to plan your roads with the Old City Moat in mind.
Next, Night Lights features a treat for players who have played on Steam and plan to play on the Nintendo Switch as well, allowing them to do a one way sync between Steam and their Switch. And, of course, Night Lights features its titular namesake as a feature, letting you plan and optimize your cities at any time of day.
And finally, but just as important, is the slew of bug fixes and performance adjustments, to keep the city running smoothly.
