Let’s get some names on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to make some suits, shall we?
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is just around the corner and Insomniac Games just announced the addition of new suits available for the title. Just like the first game, players will be able to get their hands on some exclusive suits made just for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as they play through the campaign. This time around, however, the people who designed the suits were quite extraordinary and unexpected.
It is usual to expect some person who has done suit designing before, of course, Insomniac had to include one. Most of the suits were designed by Colm Dillane, who is the head of the famous streetwear brand KidSuper. Dillane explained that they are happy to work on the project as they can come up with suits and streetwear that would fit Miles’ style and reflect the same tones on his Spider-Man suits as well.
Along with Colm Dillane’s inclusion, there are Riya Sawayana, Lando Norris, and Vinicius Junior who are also in the suit designing team. It is odd to see a pop singer, a race car driver, and a footballer in the same team of design for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but this is the ultimate decision given by Insomniac themselves, so we will see what sort of creation those celebrities will come up with.
The requests of these celebs are the addition of leather, stealth elements, and the colors in the Brazil flag, which seems to be far off from the traditional dress code the Spider-Man, but we are sure the designers will find a way to properly implement the suits into the game no problem. Some of the suits have been showcased online, but it was not long all the roster of additional suits was leaked online, so watch out if you do not want to see the prized spoiled.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on the 20th of October for the PlayStation 5 only.
