Marvel’s Avengers did not have a perfect time after its launch. The game had to go through a lot of issues, one of which was the unappealing loot. The live service market is filled with many more better titles than Marvel’s Avengers. Indeed, more awful news for Marvel’s Avengers is that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions have been postponed to 2021.
On their official website, they also stated:
To our community:
We have been thrilled to see so many of you enjoying Marvel’s Avengers, to watch you fall in love with Kamala Khan in the Reassemble campaign, customize iconic Super Heroes your way, and discover new War Zone co-op strategies with your friends.
Marvel’s Avengers launch was not without turbulence, and we recognize that a number of issues detracted from your enjoyment of the game. This does not align with Crystal Dynamics’ value of craftsmanship, and we sincerely apologize for that.
Over the past weeks, our team around the world has been heads down, fixing bugs and tuning critical gameplay systems, guided in part by your feedback. Since launch, we’ve released rapid updates to address these bugs, improve game stability, and refine our matchmaking system. While our work is never done, these fixes and additions have made improvements to the overall player experience.
As of now, Marvel’s Avengers are struggling to hold onto the space they have acquired. With all the upcoming titles, it needs to improve its issues.
Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Stadia.
