It is a sad day for not just NFL fans, but also sporting and gaming fans everywhere. It has been confirmed that coach and broadcasting Hall of Famer John Madden has sadly passed away at the age of 85. In case you somehow do not know who he was, he was one of the best coaches in history with a phenomenal 76% winning record. Most notably winning the Oakland Raiders their first ever Super Bowl in 1976. After coaching, he became one of the greatest sports casters ever. The man became a revolutionary for not only the NFL, but as well as gaming. If you are a huge fan of Madden NFL games, then you should thank and honouring John Madden, as he’s the reason for your love of the game.
The first ever game being in 1988, and has been one of the most successful gaming franchises in history, by generating billions of dollars. As a gesture and to pay our respects to the icon, many fans have requested for John Madden to be on the next cover of the Madden NFL game, as one of the ways to honour his legacy, and many people agree with this idea. Today was most definitely a huge loss for us all. John Madden has contributed immensely to the sport and gaming. We will all remember him in our hearts, and may he rest peacefully in heaven.
