The famous MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic has released another major expansion in Legacy Of The Sith.
Star Wars: The Old Republic has overall been a major success for Bioware and EA. The game is fun and consistently garners thousands of players every day. The recent release of update 7.0 and the Legacy of The Sith expansion, no doubt ensured that those numbers drastically increased (And they did, hitting a player peak of 19,054 in the last 24 hours).
The new story begins on the planet of Manaan. A rather famous planet for fans of the series having been featured in Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic from all the way back in 2003 where once players complete the Manaan arc, they gain a base of operations for their faction. The new Legacy Of The Sith expansion, centres once again around the infamous Darth Malgus. The old sith lord is back once again to the elation of Star Wars: The Old Republic fans from all over the world.
Malgus is said to be on the planet of Elom where he scours the land in search of sith relics, exploring old sith fortresses. You can play through this storyline solo or even as a multiplayer flashpoint. All in all Legacy Of The Sith seems to be a great addition in Star Wars stories.
Finally, players of Star Wars: The Old Republic will be delighted to know that the class story is now distinctly separate from the combat styles. This will allow players the true freedom of customisation as you can play through your favourite class stories without being shoehorned into specific specialisations. More details about the update can be found here.
Finally, this update marks a decade since Star Wars: The Old Republic first came to players. 10 years of adventures through the galaxy far far away. From Malgus to Valkorion and more, players have dedicated themselves to this MMO in so many ways.
One of the more famous things about The Old Republic that seems to transcend the game itself, is it’s remarkable cinematic trailers. Through these trailers we witnessed the ‘Return’. Then we saw the seed of ‘Hope’. Then we were ‘Deceived’. Now we face ‘Disorder’…
Star Wars: The Old Republic’s 7.0 Update is here, alongside the brand new expansion Legacy Of The Sith. If you have not already and you’re a major fan of the series, or whether you wish to dip your toe in for the very first time. Now is the best time to do so.
