Mark down your calendars, a free music concert for the Kirby 30th Anniversary has been announced.
Kirby has been receiving quite the assortment of goodies this year, and Nintendo has continued to provide him with some worldwide love. It was recently announced that to commemorate the Kirby 30th Anniversary, a one time music festival will be held, featuring a multitude of tracks from Kirby OSTs across the years. These tracks will be played by a big band style ensemble of 35 musicians, who will perform the Kirby tracks in a variety of differing genres.
Due to the rather unique circumstances the world is currently facing, this event will feature some fun methods in order to get the experience out and spread the love for everybody’s favorite pink mascot. The event will take place at the Tokyo Garden Theater, but will also be livestreamed for free, and can be viewed from all over the world!
Kirby’s music festival will take place on August 11th, and can be streamed from the official Kirby YouTube channel. For more information on the event, be sure to check out the website here.
