DJing can be a boring job. But it’s better when you have consistent callers. Give everyone a Killer Frequency they can tune in to.
The 1980s was a big time for radio stations and their listeners. But it was also a time to be a little afraid. Killer Frequency, from Team17 Digital, brings back the serial killer fear back from the deepest reaches of our memories. In this title, your music isn’t only meant to put listeners in a good mood. It may even save their lives.
You are one Forest Nash, a DJ from a 1980s Midwestern town. As the host of radio station’s ‘The Scream’ late night segment, it’s your job to entertain anyone having trouble sleeping. However, as the minutes tick by, events of absolute horror begin to unfold. Nash is not without help, though. As he speaks to listeners who call in, the multiple conversation options help help acquire clues or lead to new information.
Additionally, there might be a few things around the station building that can help. Some listeners might even be saved by the puzzles that Forest Nash solves. How many puzzles can he solve and how many people can he really save?
Everyone might be saved. But you’ll have to be will, as Forest Nash, to show that kind of compassion. Save them or have every listener experience horror along with you.
Killer Frequency will hit PC via Steam and Meta Quest 2 sometime this year. Be sure to keep an eye out for this one.
