There is no question that Ghost of Tsushima was nothing short of a masterpiece. It’s fair to say that every gamer, if not most, thoroughly enjoyed the game. Most people would say it should have won the prestigious Game of the Year award instead of The Last of Us Part II. And they would definitely have a case because the game was almost perfect.
But why does the awesomeness have to end there? Why not have a sequel to this masterpiece? Because guess what?? There will be a sequel. According to GamingBible’s Imogen Donovan, Sucker Punch currently have an opening for a ‘combat designer’ which refers to the game.
She explains that the job requires the potential applicant to have three or more years of design experience and must understand the core combat systems of Ghost of Tsushima. She explains even further that the job requires applicants to have a “contemporary knowledge of modern combat design” & also has “experience working on melee combat systems” & experience working on progression and investment systems”.
This should tell people that Ghost of Tsushima 2 is definitely happening. And of course, the platforms would be on both PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 4. Plus, we expect the game to be just as great as the first one, or hopefully even better. Either way, the game will most likely be a contender for Game of the Year.
