An imaginary world is as real as a person makes it. In Iris And The Giant, things start to get a little too real.
At times, the mind can be as powerful as any weapon. When one realizes this, it is easier to face one’s fears. In Iris And The Giant, from Louis Rigaud and published by Goblinz Studio, comes a tale where a girl must face her deepest fears. The world she dives into might be imaginary, but the danger sure isn’t.
At its heart, the title is a CCG with roguelike elements sprinkled throughout its world(s). Taking on enemies will require the use of cards. But, in addition, there will be RPG mechanics to help along the way. Players will have about 51 various cards to choose from, from attack to defense, and even buffing one’s MC.
Do not fret about the learning curve either. Developers of Iris And The Giant have given the title what they have dubbed a “progressive learning curve.” It will be a walk in the park for everyone at the very beginning. But as one advances through the story, the difficulty will steadily increase, giving even the most confident player a run for their money.
Iris And The Giant is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at $14.99.
