Stunning new trailer shows the magical FPS is coming this summer.
New single-player magic shooter Immortals of Aveum revealed its release date as July 20th in an epic new trailer. Positioned as an original IP from new developers Ascendant Studio and published by EA Originals, this single-player adventure is poised to launch a new IP and world.
Immortals of Aveum was first revealed during the 2022 Game Awards with a brief teaser trailer that showed dragons, a kingdom at war, and our first glimpse at the magic-based gameplay that looked promising enough and gave a distant 2023 release date. With a new Immortals of Aveum release trailer, we now know the exact date and with a new mix of CGI and gameplay footage.
The debut of Immortals of Aveum and Ascendant Studio has the background of developers who have previously worked on Dead Space, making it an interesting proposal to put on many gamers’ radars who love fantasy games.
A few gaming outlets also have published their first hands-on impressions of Immortals of Aveum, comparing it to the cinematic action of God of War and the thrilling setpieces of Call of Duty. Another welcome bit of news regarding the structure of Immortals of Aveum is the lack of microtransactions and that it will not require a persistent internet connection to play, which has become a regrettable staple of today’s gaming landscape.
EA Originals has been working to bring new gaming experiences with games such as Lost In Random with varying degrees of success. This new magic shooter seems to surpass all expectations with its original adventure. Immortals of Aveum plans to release on July 20th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
