We Have Just Seen More Info On Aloy’s Next Journey In Horizon Forbidden West
Guerrilla Game’s next big release is Horizon Forbidden West, the next tale in Aloy’s series. The previous game was a smash hit, and the sequel appears to be following in its footsteps.
The game itself looks incredible; graphically, it looks like it has no equal on consoles. The new story trailer showed a mixture of jaw-dropping vistas hidden behind the menagerie of machine work and the brilliant score to back the already amazing trailer.
Furthermore, the trailer shows a few unfamiliar faces. First, we have Angela Basset (Black Panther, Strange Days) starring as one of Aloy’s major antagonists, Regala, who seems to be driven to destroy the newly met Carja tribe. Later, at the end of the trailer, we witness Carrie Ann Moss (The Matrix, Mass Effect 2/3) as Tilda.
Those who played the first game will recall the super-AI GAIA. Well, Tilda is supposedly linked to AI in some regard, so everyone should be very excited to see not one but two very talented actors join the series.
We also see glimpses of familiar faces; Lance Reddick’s Sylens will make a return in Horizon Forbidden West as the man fascinated with the technology of the Old Ones. We also see the return of Varl (John MacMillan) and Erend (John Hopkins) in their return to help Aloy along her travels.
I am very excited about this game’s release, and at this point, it feels like it’s just around the corner. It feels like years since we got the 20-minute gameplay of Horizon Forbidden West. We only have one more month to wait. In the meantime, God of War just released on PC this past week to wondrous acclaim, and a Last of Us Remake is said to be on the way this year, which means Sony and their dev teams are going to be very busy in 2022.
