Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands calls PC and Nintendo Switch gamers out for a mountain hike for an open-world skiing & snowboarding adventure.
Put on your skis or the snowboard and get ready for an excursion in the icy mountains as the Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands is close to its launch. Confirmed today by the Microids Indie that the game will be featured at the next Steam Fest, while its demo has already been released on Steam.
Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands is an open-work game, putting gamers to discover frost landscapes in this stunning open-world ski and snowboard adventure. This skiing and snowboarding game is developed by the Swedish studio Toppluva AB that allows players to explore extensive mountains loaded with hundreds of objectives to uncover and participate in for the competition. Speaking of competition, players can compete in Slalom, Slopestyle, Big Air, and a variety of events, or ride the lift to the top and choose their path down the mountain.
Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands has been redesigned and extended from its original that provides much-improved graphics, additional mountains, and more importantly, a much more intelligent AI to compete with. Players can gather around with friends and play on local multiplayer. The full release will have far more to discover than what players have experienced in the demo so far.
“Being able to explore and ski or snowboard your way through the mountains in a refreshing and relaxing game, that’s the unique concept of Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands. It’s sure to appeal to a very wide audience.” said Stéphane Longeard, Microids’ CEO. “It was only natural to make a retail edition for this game, which will include exclusive winter goodies.”
There are 12 massive open-world ski resorts to discover in the Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands. Each varied from snowy remote locations to thick woods teeming with wildlife. Furthermore, there are crowded peaks, cliffs, mountainous terrains, and even quaint mountainous towns. In these landscapes, players get to compete in Super G, Slopestyle, Big Air, and a variety of other events.
Besides that, outside the mountains, players can look for hidden challenges and adversities to collect ski passes for accessing new ski skiing locations. Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands isn’t just about skiing, as players can either play the game alone or with four of their friends in multiplayer mode. The best part is that they not only get to compete with each other but explore and ride down the mountains together. And when things get too loaded, the Zen Mode will allow you to leave behind the crowd to be alone and replenish yourself.
With over 8 million players to date, the game arrived on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The game’s digital edition will also be available on the Nintendo eShop and PC on March 10th (Steam). The retail Switch game will be released in Europe on March 10th and in North America on March 22nd. You can preorder the retail edition for a unique logo badge, Snowy stickers and 2 winter postcards.
